The themes and narrative concerns in folk literature are shaped by the cultural, social, and historical contexts in which they are created and transmitted. In this essay, we will discuss the major thematic and narrative concerns in folk literature.

 Nature and the Supernatural: One of the most common themes in folk literature is nature and the supernatural. Folklore often reflects the relationship between humans and the natural world, which is a fundamental aspect of many traditional cultures. Supernatural elements are also commonly featured in folk literature, including ghosts, demons, witches, and other magical creatures.
