eople have different kinds of hobbies and means of entertainment. Some indulge in games that are physically beneficial. Soccer, cricket, hockey, volleyball are that kind.  Some like to be with friends whenever possible; chatting with them, going out and mouth watching. You can see people who have made their friends books. The list goes on and on.

What I have felt nowadays that hobbies for some people change from time to time. And I think I’m one of them.

Developing Sherlock Holmes’ intuition can be considered as a very good hobby.

By reading and watching more about Sherlock Holmes I've come to a conclusion that just being silent at a place but at the same time knowing everything happens around you is pleasurable feeling. Not to mention if you’re using your logic to figure out the reasons and mysteries behind all the matters you see, hear or sense. Developing Sherlock Holmes’ intuition is an interesting thing to be busy with. Having the qualities of Sherlock Holmes when you observe something makes you feel good.

Last week I went for a marriage party with my friends. After we had food, we decided to have a walk along the road until the train arrives for our departure back home. I decided to transform into ‘Sherlock Holmes’ that day to check how my logical skills are!!! (lol).  

  We got near a street vendor, no other buildings or houses aside nor any people. There were sugar canes to make sugar cane juice, pineapple slices, mangoes, chilies, all in a bottle of glass of salt water. Two guys- one near the bottles and the other near the sugar cane juice machine. Sipping the juice in a long glass I stepped further back into the vendor’s back side. There was a three-wheeler vehicle normally used by the handicapped. And that was kind of parked away from the road side.

Summary 1:  one of the vendors is handicapped

I looked at both of them, right!!! One of them has an abnormal leg. He was also fattier than the other. I further observed them. The handicapped one said something as he was commanding. And the other obeyed it happily without any change in his face.

Summary 2: The handicapped and fatty guy is superior to the other.

Observation continues, there was a bit similarity in their faces. I looked again and again deep into their faces. I made sure that their facial shape is alike.

Summary3: The vendors are brothers and the fatty, handicapped one is the elder.

I asked the younger one ‘’aren’t you brothers?’’ he smiled and said ‘yes’. ‘ Aren't you the younger one?’ he said ‘yeah’

‘Sherlock Holmes’ sighs with ecstasy as if he solved a crime case.

        2)He has been given a book by Khadeeja’s(his wife) cousin, a priest, which is a mix between some version from the Torah and some version from the New Testament and mix them into false verses.  (Quran!)(nothing but the jealousy of the Jews) 
       3)A scene from the movie; A married woman comes to Mohammed and offers her body to him while her husband has left to the caravans. A servant asked him: Isn't it shame for a woman to expose herself to a man she does not know? Mohammed answers : “have you not hear what God has said in the Quran “The master may desire whom he wants and shall be given whom he wants” also if a married woman offers herself to the master and if he wishes to have her he’s allowed, even if the rest of the believers are  not allowed.( The verse has been misquoted)
    4)Prophet and Omar are portrayed as gays!( there is no even a single historical evidence for this allegation)

Not courage enough dude...

It’s PTM College, his exam centre for more than a week. Exams got along day after day. One of these days he noticed a girl with her charming talk. He hoped if she would talk to him in the same way.

“Oh come on man…he hasn’t heard girls talking or no girl has ever talked to him?” oh yeah, that’s it. He is not used to the  ‘girly talks’ as he stays in a college where only boys study and the duration of the course is eight long years. So you shouldn’t wonder about him.

    That day’s exam was easy for him. She came to the exam hall and sat on her place, which was just behind the bench he was sitting. She was so friendly. He felt free to begin the talk with her. Well, as she seemed kind of ‘can you help me telling the answers?’ he began to help her during the exam. When his writing was over she was in her half way to the last question. He was thinking of how to help her more. Soon he came up with the idea of writing the answers in his question paper and exchanges it to her and leaves the hall immediately.  Well, he did so.

                 He came out the hall and there were his friends. Telling his friends wait outside the college building, he stood outside the hall expecting her arrival. After a long time, she appeared with a smiling face filled with gratitude. He had a plan to ask her mobile number. The conversations went on and he enjoyed her talk very well. As he was about to ask her number, some of her friends turned up and he felt ashamed to ask it in public. He bid her farewell. She was so happy that he helped her a lot. He left the scene listening to her “thanks…thanks…thanks…”

Lesson of the day: if you want to ask a girl’s phone number, let it be known that there could be her friends with her, but you should go ahead and ask it at any cost. And be prepared.

Why should you read Shakespeare’s works?

I’m not interested in reading and figuring out awkward sentences if they make me mad. As my exam is getting near I’d to read it.

Impressed by the romantic conversations of Jessica with her “sugarcane” Lorenzo I just looked around and made sure nobody is looking at me. I realized I’ve been spell bounded by reading it. I asked one of my pals Abul Falil how I can be a “LOVER”!!!   THE ANSWER he gave me was in a sudden, which made me laugh a lot... “See pick a girl and think you’re her ‘sugarcane’”……..

CANI!

Thank god!! No sign of defects for our health aftermath of the very “Well” day.  I’ve heard that the complete family staying next doors used the same “categorized” water for their daily needs over a week unknowingly some years ago and nothing happened to them!!

  I was in the bed for about an hour listening to the tape of my favourite motivational coach Anthony Robbins’s Lessons in Mastery mp3 clip. He talks about a formula he developed called “CANI!” which refers to:

                                                  Constant And Never ending Improvement (CANI!)

He says that those who follow the theory and stay committed to it, CANI! , one can live a pleasurable life he has imagined and while he go ahead with it, he can eventually realise that he is living a life which was far beyond than the life he had ever dreamed of! Well, I’m sure that Tony has made me buy his theory and I’m sure you would also like his tape.

    Well, my Grandpa and I left for Angadippuram Mark Motors Showroom to purchase a scooter. I had thought that we could take it home today itself, but we were supposed to order the item and wait for their call. Anyhow we filled up the forms and paid Rs. 10,000 in advance and left the showroom with their assurance that they’d call within 10 days.

   

A very “Well” Day

I’ve to take two pills before my breakfast for a couple of weeks to get over my sickness. So, i took those pills with a sip of water and was waiting for my turn in the dining table. Had the breakfast and as there was not much on T.V, I just sat on the cot thinking about nothing...

My college leave lasts until today evening but I’m not sure if I could go.

I think it was about 1o’ clock or something when my mom called me and my brother Shibili and wanted to go check out our well and notice if there is anything dead in the water. Both my dad and mom need spec to get a sharp site of anything, so I’m the man at this point of time. We got near the well with much powerful understanding that “we are needy too…”

I removed the net covering of the well and took a glance and made sure there is nothing dead in the water except some oily surface which reflects the sun rays entering the well and a log floating on the water. I opened the tap outside the well and took some water out and smelled it with my genius nose. All clear! I came about the answer of a scientist Shinos.

But my mom had got there by the time to make sure our result is true. She didn’t do anything miraculous except just shaking the pipe which was attached to the motor which unfortunately I forgot to do. “Just an old log mom nothing else…” she kept hearing my words without any response as long as she made her probe continue.

“Oh my…..just a log you…is that just a log? “ This is what I would get if I ever send you to do anything... She began to say things to me.

                Yeah! There was a dead Cobra in the water which gave its look as a log to me……

Everybody came to the place. I took it out and threw away. What a nasty smell! I searched for its head but it was dissolved in the water some days ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What!! So was I taking all those pills this morning with dead cobrated water to my empty stomach? A million questions came to my mind about last days. We got Zamzam water from our neighbours and everybody took it in.

Now what? Have to clean the well and make it as a new one.

6, 02, 2012  SON DAY

Today was the much awaited Meelad-u-Nnabi Day. My brother had gone to his Madrasa for joining the Rali and collect as sweet as possible from the wishers who would gather along the road sides and distribute sweets and cool drinks for the pedestrians.

  

    He got back home with a handful pack of sweets and saved it in a bottle in the kitchen and he didn’t forget to give me one. Don’t ask me why I didn’t accompany him as everybody is supposed to get out of the houses and follow the Rali, because I was sick......
